We believe that leadership is something you take, that black people should be the largest employer of black people and that the black community deserves the same standard of living in our community that others have in theirs.

Notice: 20% of Basic Business annual membership dues are used for a wide range of lobbying and are non-deductible. Fees paid for marketing events only are fully deductible as a marketing expense.

Wisconsin Black Wine Makers Group Membership

You need to GET AWAY!?  Don’t worry about gas prices, traffic or parking…just eat, drink and MAKE WINE in Chicago

Date: TBA (for those interested in creating their own brand) We are limited to 10 participants for each group that we form.

We Leave Milwaukee at 11:05am - We’ll start at Obama’s favorite breakfast spot, Velois! This is located in the trendy Hyde Park area. You can have breakfast, lunch or whatever you like! Then we’re off to Wild Blossom Meadery for their wine making class from 3-5p. After class we’ll head to the trendy Sophy Hotel where you can drink, eat, mix & mingle or just people watch! We’ll leave Chicago around 8, and you’re back in Milwaukee by 9:30p.

 

Details of the wine making class…

$250.00 is the cost of the trip includes roundtrip to Chicago & back, as well as transportation while in Chicago! Also included is the cost of your class and a full year membership in the Wisconsin Black Chamber of Commerce, Inc. 

 

Class details… You will need to attend 2 classes. The 1st goes over the process, and you will start your batch. Your batch will ferment for 2 weeks, then it will be racked. In 6-10 weeks we go back a second time for bottling. Bottling is the most fun part!
